March 13, 2019: AGNC, XOM

Dividend Portfolio

In my personal investing account, AGNC paid their March dividend. I received $181.26. I used the Dividend Reinvestment Program, or DRIP, to automatically purchase 10.115 shares at $17.92.

Monthly Update for February 13, 2019

By owning shares of AGNC in February, my shares bought me $1.82 of dividends per month and 10.115 shares. I am also investing about $1,000 every month until I’ve put $25,000 into this stock. This table represents how my monthly payment has been impacted by using the DRIP and investing in this stock:

This is by far the riskiest dividend stock I purchase. The 12% yield is way above average and every month I am waiting for a dividend cut. However, on March 12, 2019, they announced another consistent dividend. So far, this stock has been the gift that keeps on giving.

In my personal investing account, XOM paid their Q4 2018 dividend. I received $321.44. I used the Dividend Reinvestment Program, or DRIP, to automatically purchase 4.0155 shares at $80.05. I have never used the DRIP for XOM, but the company seems very well positioned to be a long-term player in the energy industry.
